Museums are fun! There are many kinds of museums. There are a lot of things in museums. We can learn a lot about our world there. But what is a museum?

In an art museum, we see art from all over the world. Some art is old. Some art is new. We look for art that we like. Then we make our own art to take back to school.

Living History Museum 

In a living history museum we see things from long ago. Some things we look at. Some things we try. An old classroom

Inside the old classroom we sit at the wooden desks. The wooden seats are hard! We dress like children did long ago.

Some things are outside. We walk around an old village.

Natural History Museum 

In a natural history museum, we see things from nature. We look at birds, animals, insects and plants. Butterflies

There are scary things like dinosaurs. There are pretty things like shells and fossils. We find the dinosaur skeletons. They are very big.

Science Museum 

In a science museum, we ask questions: How does it work? Why does it do this? What is it for? We push buttons, pull levers and listen to find out. Old cars and planes
